Town Hall
featuring
Comcast
Internet Essentials Program targeting
real life problems
and solutions to the digital divide will be held at The Detroit
Cares Academy. The community town hall forum, hosted by Rev.
Horace Sheffield will air live on Radio One WCHB 1200am and
99.9fm before a live audience and guest speakers on this crucial
topic for our children and families recognizing . .

future depends upon
educating children and providing
access to
educational tools for the
entire family.”
Students from DCA High, Parker Middle
and Edison elementary Schools have been invited to participate in
an essay contest on "Why the internet is important to me
as a student".

Detroit Students recognized by DABO at Annual Dinner
At the Annual
State of the Race Address and Dinner, scholarships were
awarded to high school seniors graduating in Spring 2012, who
will be enrolled in an accredited vocational or trade school or
who will be attending a college or university in the Fall of
2012.
