Notable Achievements
- Organized and administered the Metropolitan Detroit Inter Ethic Coalition that brought together various ethnic minorities to discuss issues of common concern and to alleviate potential conflicts.
- Organized the Detroit Dearborn Religious Alliance to diffuse racial strife between Detroit and Dearborn over the proposed Dearborn parks ban.
- Organized (GOOD) that led to educational reform in the Detroit Public Schools and the establishment of the HOPE Team.
- Was funded by the Michigan Department of Public Health, the Neighborhood Builders Alliance, and the Robert Woods Johnson to plan and implement the two school based health clinics in the Detroit Public Schools.
- Organized and implemented the community component of the Alliance for A Safer Greater Detroit.
- Developed and administer the Sheffield Center for Organizational Development that houses eight fledgling non-profit organizations and provides meeting space and technical assistance to thirty (30) other community based organizations.
- Provides leadership training, organizational development, and informational technology training to individuals and community-based organizations.
